De-Conditioning in Human Design

De-Conditioning in Human Design

De-conditioning in Human Design is a process of becoming aware of and freeing yourself from ingrained patterns of behavior that do not align with your true nature, as defined by your Human Design.

This conditioning comes from external sources like parents, society, and even the planets. It impacts both defined and undefined centers in your Human Design chart.

Undefined centers are especially susceptible to conditioning because they are open to the influence of others. Conditioning can lead to frustration, failure, and ill health as you chase after things that are not meant to be consistent in your life. The Role of Strategy and AuthorityHuman Design provides a framework for de-conditioning through understanding and living in accordance with your Type, Strategy, and Authority.

Your Type determines your energetic strategy for interacting with the world. Your Authority guides your decision-making process. By aligning with your Strategy and Authority, you begin to make choices that are energetically correct for you. This alignment allows the true self to emerge, free from conditioned patterns.

The Seven-Year Process

Human Design theory suggests that de-conditioning is a gradual process that takes approximately seven years, the time it takes for the body to physically renew itself.

During this time, awareness of your true nature gradually replaces old, conditioned behavior patterns. This transformation happens on a cellular level, leading to a more authentic and fulfilling life.

How de-conditioning manifests in the undefined centers

Undefined Root Center: This can lead to feeling pressured by the stress of others and making hasty decisions. De-conditioning involves recognizing and managing this external pressure. ●Undefined Sacral Center: Individuals may feel pressured to be constantly active or give more energy than they have. De-conditioning involves honoring your energy limits and responding authentically to life's invitations.
Undefined Spleen Center: This can manifest as chasing after fleeting feelings of well-being. De-conditioning involves developing a deeper understanding of what truly nourishes and supports your well-being.
Undefined Solar Plexus Center: This can lead to getting caught up in the emotional waves of others. De-conditioning involves developing emotional clarity and making decisions from a place of inner peace.
Undefined Heart Center: Individuals may struggle with feelings of inadequacy or try to prove their worth through external achievements. De-conditioning involves recognizing and accepting your inherent self-worth.
Undefined Head Center: This can manifest as constantly seeking mental stimulation or trying to solve everyone else's problems. De-conditioning involves recognizing and trusting your own inner wisdom and allowing your mind to rest.
Undefined Ajna Center: This can lead to overthinking, doubting your intuition, or adopting rigid mental frameworks. De-conditioning involves trusting your intuitive insights and allowing your mind to be flexible and open.
Undefined Throat Center: Individuals may feel pressured to speak or express themselves when they are not ready. De-conditioning involves embracing silence and speaking only when it feels authentic.
Undefined G Center: This can manifest as a lack of a consistent sense of self or constantly seeking external validation. De-conditioning involves surrendering to the flow of life and allowing your identity to emerge organically.

The Importance of Patience and Self-Acceptance

De-conditioning is not an overnight process. It requires patience, self-acceptance, and a willingness to experiment with living in alignment with your true nature. As you embark on this journey, it is important to remember that there is no need to judge or try to change yourself. Human Design simply provides a roadmap for recognizing and embracing your authentic self.
